2016 All-Star Announcements: Kershaw, Jansen, and Seager Make 2016 All-Star Team

On Tuesday the 2016 All-Stars were announced and, unfortunately, Dodger fans were disappointed. The Dodgers have arguably the best starting pitcher, closer, and shortstop in baseball, and though Kershaw and Jansen are being represented fairly, Seager is not!

To give you a visualization of how much Corey Seager deserves to start the All-Star Game, here are his stats compared to Addison Russell’s:

Corey Seager tops Russell in every batting statistic, yet he will not be starting. Hopefully, manager Terry Collins will be smart and humor cubs fans with an inning for Russell and the rest of the game for Seager!
