Adrian Gonzalez Boxing As Part Of Offseason Workout (VIDEO)

While plenty of attention has been placed on the changes made and players who are no longer with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the majority of the core that’s helped win consecutive NL West division titles is set to return.



Among those is Adrian Gonzalez, who has been a mainstay and consistent source of production since being traded to the Dodgers in 2012. While his .276 batting average was the lowest of his career since 2009, he managed to bounced back nicely from a one-month slump.

Gonzalez finished first in the Majors with 116 RBIs and a had team-high 27 home runs. His 41 doubles were third-most in the NL and he led the league with 11 sacrifice flies. As a result, Gonzalez won the Silver Slugger Award and he was recognized for his defense as well, winning a Fielding Bible Award, Gold Glove, and Wilson Defensive Award.
