Baseball America Votes Dodgers 2017 MLB Organization Of The Year

The Dodgers won 104 games in 2017, good enough for the best in Major League Baseball. They made it all the way to the World Series and took the Astros to seven games. They may not have won it all, but their season was filled with many successes nonetheless.

The Dodgers were honored by Baseball America on Tuesday as the organization of the year. Kyle Glaser of Baseball America notes Andrew Friedman, Farhan Zaidi, and the rest of the management as key factors in Los Angeles’ transformation into a “championship-caliber” team.

Glaser also comments on the unique mix of players that make up the Dodgers, saying:

They did it with a mix of standout homegrown players, shrewd trade acquisitions and fruitful scouting in every area.
