A press release was just passed out by the Dodgers about this Saturday’s inaugural FanFest event. The event will begin at 12:00 p.m., and run until game-time, which is scheduled at 7:10 p.m. against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Dodger Stadium’s 50th Anniversary FanFest presented by State Farm will feature appearances and autograph opportunities by 45 Dodgers of both yesteryear and today.
Dodger players and coaches scheduled to make appearances include Bobby Abreu, Ronald Belisario, Chad Billingsley, Chris Capuano, Todd Coffey, Scott Elbert, A.J. Ellis, Mark Ellis, Andre Ethier, Dee Gordon, Javy Guerra, Matt Guerrier, Tony Gwynn Jr., Jerry Hairston Jr., Aaron Harang, Elian Herrera, Kenley Jansen, Matt Kemp, Adam Kennedy, Ted Lilly, Josh Lindblom, James Loney, Davey Lopes, Don Mattingly, Jerry Sands, Justin Sellers, Matt Treanor, Scott Van Slyke and Jamey Wright.
Not only players will be making appearances at the event, but also broadcasters, and front-office executives:
Hall of Fame Dodger broadcasters Vin Scully and Jaime Jarrín will also partake in Dodger Stadium’s 50th Anniversary FanFest. Jarrín will be joined by fellow Dodger Spanish-language broadcaster Pepe Yñiguez and Dodger legendary lefty and Spanish-language broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela. Dodger broadcasters Rick Monday and Charley Steiner and Dodgers General Manager Ned Colletti will also make appearances.
Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda will host a Lasorda Wine tasting for Dodger season ticket holders, who will be admitted with their MVP cards and Dodger premium clients. Lasorda will also sign autographs and is scheduled to address the crowd.
Activities for the event will include:
FanFest will feature autograph sessions with current and former Dodger players, question and answer sessions with Dodger players and coaches and family-friendly games and activities including a Sports Bounce Center, MLB Network Strikeout Zone, Batting cage, Dodger speed pitch inflatable, a velcro wall,
custom photo flip books, personalized baseball card booth, DJ Spin art booth, play-by-play broadcast center, State Farm Whiffleball field for kids, face painting and other activities for Dodger fans to enjoy.
Food, beverages, and Dodger merchandise will be available for purchase during the event. Merchandise will be offered at a 20-to-50 percent discount from last season. Such an example is an LA logo t-shirt that will be $10 off, and sold for $18.
Players are subject to change. Fans are being asked to limit autographs to one item per person so that as many fans possible can receive an autograph.

- 12:00 p.m.-12:30 p.m.: Autograph session with Scott Elbert, Elian Herrera, Adam Kennedy, Josh Lindblom, Jerry Sands, Matt Treanor, Scott Van Slyke.
- 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m.: Autograph session with Chris Capuano, Matt Guerrier, Tony Gwynn, Jr., Justin Sellers, Jamey Wright.
- 12:45 p.m.-1:10 p.m.: Appearance and interview with Don Mattingly.
- 1:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: Autograph session with Ron Cey, Steve Garvey, Davey Lopes, Bill Russell.
- 1:10 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: Appearance and interview with Matt Kemp.
- 1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m.: Appearance and interview with Cey, Garvey, Lopes, Russell.
- 2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.: Appearance and interview with Steve Sax and Steve Yeager.
- 2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.: Autograph session with Ronald Belisario, Todd Coffey, A.J. Ellis, Mark Ellis, Andre Ethier, Javy Guerra, Ted Lilly, James Loney.
