UPDATE: #1 This deal is done for minor leaguer Justin Fuller. Thome has 23 home runs on the year, we can expect Loney to lose some playing time.
The White Sox will receive infielder Justin Fuller in the deal, and are sending cash to LA that will presumably cover part, or all or Thome’s salary.
Dodgers are making moves like crazy. It was just minutes ago it appeared we’re about to acquire Jon Garland, and now we’re just picked up Jim Thome.
