Dodgers And Cardinals Benches Clear In Game 1 Of NLDS (VIDEO)

[new_royalslider id=”3″] In the days leading up to Game 1 of the National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals one of the talking points was the underlying bad blood between the two teams.

There Is Only One Clayton Kershaw And There’s Only One Greatne22 Shirt! Get Yours Here!

The Cardinals essentially knocked Hanley Ramirez in Game 1 of the 2013 NLCS when Joe Kelly’s fastball fractured one of the shortstop’s ribs. It carried over when the Dodgers and Cardinals met in July for a three-game series and Ramirez was hit twice in one game.

Before Ramirez was again treated like a punching bag was Yasiel Puig taking a pitch off his left hand in the game prior. Clayton Kershaw retaliated after Ramirez was hit by plunking Matt Holliday on his backside.

With Adam Wainwright on the mound for Game 1 of the NLDS, he went up and in on Ramirez in his first at-bat of the game. Wainwright then hit Puig in the third inning and it led to benches clearing after Adrian Gonzalez and Yadier Molina exchanged words.
