Justin Turner hit a leadoff home run in the first inning to give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead and a shot of life in the arm. The emotion quickly boiled over as the next batter, Yasiel Puig, was hit by a Madison Bumgarner pitch on the left ankle.

Puig went down to the ground and glared at Bumgarner over his right shoulder. The Giants lefty appeared to yell towards Puig direction, who quickly rose to his feet and made his way towards the mound. Both benches and bullpens cleared as the umpires worked to break up the fracas and issued warnings.

Players were not ejected and there weren’t any further issues the rest of the way.

    1. You stand in there (as your job) and get hit by a 90+ mph ball and see if you don’t get pissed?! Your career could end before it’s even started. You can blame other incidents on Puig being young, but not getting thrown at….

      1. right on Puig had every right to be pissed Bumgarner’s to good with conrol to just let that one get away and as they say pay back is a bit_ _ just to bad the Bum had so many of his buddies there to stop it

  1. Go Dodgers, great win last night! One more, let’s do it tonight!
Bye Bye Giants! Bumgarner is gone.

  2. Bumgardner is such a pussy, yeah you little bitch, wait until you have many players in between you and Puig and then start your tough guy bull saying “Come on” “Come on”! Yeah, he’ll come on alright… he’ll pummel your little whinny ass like the coward you are. Hey tough guy, let’s get you and Puig in a ring in the off season and see how it goes? One rule: you don’t get to bring five friends in to protect you!
