Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw Cheers Up Kids at Cedars-Sinai Hospital

Clayton Kershaw is a giant both on and off the field. Like his Dodgers teammates earlier in the season, Kershaw took time out of a busy schedule to visit children who are patients at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles Wednesday morning.

Building a Legacy of Giving Back

Giving back to the community has been a hallmark of the Kershaw’s career. His charity work through Kershaw’s Challenge has made valuable contributions in the LA community and abroad. Visiting kids who are going through difficult hospital stays may seem simple but even simple acts can make a huge impact. Way to go Kersh!

The franchise have made it known that community outreach is one of their goals moving forward. There are community charities set up by Justin Turner, Yasiel Puig, Clayton Kershaw, and a few other players on the team. Many of the teammates are also known to attend any events put on by these charities in support of one another. Just another reason why we love the Dodgers.

  1. I am a lifelong Giants fan so I “hate” the Dodgers on the field. But, it’s little things like these hospital visits that makes me respect and love these real heroes off the field!!!

  2. Memo to management again – if you lose Clayton at the end of this year, you lose countless fans and the face of the franchise for at least a generation.

Memo to Clayton – please stay for at least the two remaining years on your contract if management does not give you the lifetime extension you want and have earned.
