  1. With the injuries and the fact the Dodgers had decided to tread water with pitchers, Kazmir’s opt out contract Anderson’s one year deal . And this is the year to get Pederson, Puig and Grandal to either straighten out or get traded. Plus the Front Office finally came out well in a trade with Thompson, Montas and Johnson. Next spring or end of this season I believe we will see a trade of a young pitcher as we have Wood, Stripling, Urias, Montas and probably DeLeon fighting for 3 rotation spots. Now with the injury issues we have seen they may decide to keep them all next year but sooner or later they will probably trade for a very good position player that will help the offense. Cather is my vote.
I was never and still am not a Grandal fan. He is a catcher that gets injured a lot. A very bad tendency for that position.  He is not a good defensive catcher (terrible blocker on balls in the dirt) and only has the “pitch framing”  skill which by the way my favorite Catcher Scocia states is a BS stat. He is hitting below the Mendoza line for the last year and does not look to get better.
Or they can go with the Farm kids and bring up Barnes and see how he does in an extended stay. He is a solid contact hitter and has been around .300 in his minors career.
