Dodgers Highlight: Kazmir Catches Up In Sweep Over Reds
The Dodgers finished a long stretch of 20 games in 20 days with their fourth straight win, ending the game at a 3-1 lead against the Reds and completing their sweep. After a rough night against the Padres on Friday where he allowed a career-high of five earned runs in 5 2/3 innings, fans were anxious for Scott Kazmir to bounce back and bring in the win.
With their winning streak on the line, the Dodgers were hoping to bring in one more victory to complete their sweep against the Reds, and Kazmir delivered. The left-hander struck out a season high of 12 batters, allowing only one run on four hits.
Kazmir Hits Season High Comeback
Joc Peterson knocked a two-run single in the fourth inning, and Yasmani Grandal hit his fourth homerun of the season in the fifth inning.
