Dodgers Highlights: Strong will and heart dooms the visitors again

DN3

Lately it has been quite a struggle for the star-studded Dodgers to score any runs, but, with the assistance of Hanley Ramirez, the team continues to charge on. Here is his 10th home run (and 36th RBI) in 38 games as a Dodger.

The Dodgers had to play from behind again as the Padres were close to sealing the deal in this one, but couldn’t do it, as new-closer Luke Gregerson served a perfect pitch for Andre Ethier to feast upon, drilling it to right field, and tying the game at 3-3.

A walk-off win is always exciting to watch, but never fun prior to the occurrence. For the second night in a row, this is how the Dodgers have chosen to write out the finale to their daily scripts, as A.J. Ellis sent a Cory Burns pitch into right field, and then hustling to first, beating a throw that could have ended the inning, lifting the Dodgers to a 3-0 record in September.
