Dodgers Hold Postseason Rally At Dodger Stadium (VIDEO)

[new_royalslider id=”331″] The Los Angeles Dodgers concluded their regular season with a win over the Colorado Rockies that gave them a three-game sweep of the Rockies, and a fifth consecutive win overall.

After the final out was recorded Sunday, the players and coaches took the field for a postseason rally that was hosted by comedian and long-time Dodger fan, George Lopez. Manager Don Mattingly commended the fans for supporting the team and said the Dodgers draw from the energy they provide.

Multiple players addressed the fans who remained for the rally, thanked them for their season-long support and discussed what winning a World Series would mean for them. Sunday’s rally was a more pleasant one for the Dodgers as it wasn’t followed by injury news — which was the case last season when it was announced Matt Kemp would miss the playoffs.

The Dodgers open postseason play at home Friday with first pitch of Game 1 set for 3:37 p.m. PT.
