Player of the Day – Victor Arano

Arano has only made one start, as the club seems intent on keeping his innings pitched low, but he’s made the most of his appearances. In his latest effort, Victor allowed just two baserunners, one of which reached via error, and struck out three over four scoreless innings. On the year, he’s posting an 0.66 ERA in 13.2 innings with 15 strikeouts to just two walks. He’s also allowed just six hits. He’s not the next Julio Urias, but so far, Arano has been just as dominant.
