Player of the Day – Lindsey Caughel

Bouncing back from his worst outing of the year, Caughel went a strong seven innings to give the Quakes the rare shutout win. After lasting just 2.1 innings and allowing 7 runs (5 earned) in his last outing, Caughel went 7 scoreless while allowing just 6 baserunners with 5 strikeouts. That lowers his ERA to a respectable 4.13 on the year.
