Player of the Day – Chris Reed

Whatever Chris Reed is doing, it’s working. In 43 innings, he’s allowed just 23 hits, resulting in a .149 opponent’s batting average. And it’s not lefties he’s dominating, it’s righties. Right-handed hitters are batting just .133 against him. Another odd stat? Reed has allowed 17 runs, but only nine have been earned. His control has been alright, though he could cut down on the walks a little. Chris continues to delay the probable move to the bullpen and that has to make Dodgers’ management happy.
