Player of the Day – Joc Pederson

Joc Pederson continues to excel at collecting hits and reaching safely. He homered for the second time in as many days, walked three times and made a spectacular diving catch to save an extra base hit. The 22-year-old is batting .376/.490/.656 with nine home runs, eight doubles and 10 stolen bases. Pederson could still improve against left-handed pitching, but there’s not much else left for him to prove in Triple-A.
