Player of the Day – Aaron Miller
The Dodgers’ first round pick from 2009, Miller converted to hitting full-time this year as a 26-year-old. So far, he’s still making the transition, needing to make a little more contact to tap into his natural ability at the plate.
Thursday night, Miller hit his fourth home run of the season and lifted his OPS to .789 overall. The odds are against him making the majors, but he has plenty of talent and drive to make it there eventually.
