Player of the Day – Jeff Brigham

The Dodgers’ fourth rounder from this year’s draft, Brigham is still working his way back from Tommy John surgery. The 22-year-old has an electric fastball that sits in the mid-90s but needs to regain confidence in his secondary offerings. Through his first three pro outings, he’s allowed just one run, though he hasn’t gone more than three innings. He will need time to polish his breaking ball, as well as build up innings, but this type of arm strength is rare.
