Player of the Day – Corey Seager

Seager has gotten off to a hot start in July, going 4-for-9 in his first three games of the month. His average is back up to .350 and he collected his 15th home run of the season last night.

I’m not sure why Seager is still in High-A, with no legit shortstop prospect in Chattanooga. I expect him to make his Double-A debut after the Futures Game at the latest.
