Dodgers Nation Week In Review: September 8 – September 14

[new_royalslider id=”318″]

The Los Angeles Dodgers spent the past week playing six games and went 4-2 in the process. The San Diego Padres came to town for a three-game set that saw the Dodgers win two. After a day off Thursday, the focus shifted to a pivotal series against the San Francisco Giants.

The teams traded routs in the first two games, then the Dodgers came out victorious on Sunday to give them a three-game lead in the NL West standings.

With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Dodgers are inching closer to another postseason run. Unfortunately, the team could be without the services of Hyun-Jin Ryu, who left Friday’s game with irritation in his right shoulder. The left-hander’s status will become clearer after Ryu undergoes an MRI Monday.
