Dodgers News: 2017 World Baseball Classic Rosters Revealed

The 2017 World Baseball Classic is less than a month away and everyone could not be happier. The semi-finals and championship rounds will be hosted in California, so there is no excuse to miss seeing your favorite Dodger players.

The rosters for all teams were released on Wednesday and there was a special announcement at Dodger Stadium to reveal the roster for Mexico. Here are the following Dodger players who will represent their country in the World Baseball Classic.



Mexico

  • Sergio Romo
  • Julio Urias
  • Alex Verdug0

Netherlands

Puerto Rico

  • Kike Hernandez

Italy

  • Andrew Maggi
  • Rob Segedin

Israel

  • Ike Davis
  • Dean Kremer

Japan won the first two classics in 2006 and 2009 while the Dominican Republic defeated Puerto Rico 3-0 to win the classic in 2013.

People can see me represent Mexico and Puerto Rico in San Diego and Los Angeles.

  1. Don’t forget AJ playing for Team USA. He may not be in a Dodgers uni any more but I bet at least half of Dodgers Nation still considers him a Dodger.
