Dodgers News: Adam Liberatore Sets Franchise Record

The Dodgers bullpen has undoubtedly been public enemy number one the entire season according to fans; however, in reality they have been one of the more consistent parts of this team. The Dodgers bullpen currently ranks second in all of major league baseball with a 2.85 ERA! Usually fans immediately think of Kenley Jansen as the leader of this bullpen, but coming in at a close second is the man who just made Dodger History: Adam Liberatore.

During Saturday night’s game, Liberatore came in during the top of the 7th with two outs and would get a strikeout for out number three. He would then return to face the first batter in the top of the 8th and strike him out as well before being pulled. This scoreless outing would make Dodger history as he now carries the title for most consecutive, scoreless appearances with 24!

This should come as no surprise to Dodger fans when you look at the numbers. So far this season, Liberatore has a .61 ERA in 29.1 innings pitched!
