Dodgers News: Adrian Gonzalez, Logan Forsythe Rehab in Rancho

Two of the Dodgers’ most valuable veterans are taking steps toward returning.

Adrian Gonzalez will play for Rancho tomorrow, while Logan Forsythe will also play.

Plunkett noted a potential two-game stint for Gonzalez, while Andy McCullough said Gonzalez is aiming for seven innings Tuesday.

Gonzalez’s return will likely shift Cody Bellinger primarily into left field.

Forsythe was injured April 18 after being hit by a pitch. He was scheduled to return a couple of weeks ago, but his hamstring didn’t cooperate. Chase Utley and Chris Taylor have divided his at-bats, with Taylor blossoming into an early season contributor.

The Dodgers hope Forsythe comes back at some point in the next two weeks.

After a quick DL stint, Brandon McCarthy is back
