Hyun-Jin Ryu returned from the disabled list on May 21 and the Los Angeles Dodgers appeared to be on the verge of being nearly 100 percent healthy. However, since that point, Juan Uribe suffered another hamstring pull, this time being placed on the DL, and Hanley Ramirez has missed four consecutive games with calf soreness, though the injury may be more serious than simple soreness.

The Dodgers concluded their nine-game road trip in impressive fashion Sunday as Josh Beckett threw a no-hitter. After Beckett got Chase Utley looking for strike three, the Dodgers dugout emptied onto the field to begin celebrating. The celebration turned ugly Monday when the Dodgers announced A.J. Ellis was placed on the DL with a severely sprained ankle; an injury he suffered by stepping on Drew Butera’s face mask.

A timetable has yet to be established for Ellis’ return.
