Dodgers News And Rumors: Ethier Not Pleased With Role
As the playoffs inch closer, Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly is consistently starting the same lineup and it’s led to better team chemistry.
With Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig, and Carl Crawford as staples in the outfield, Andre Ethier remains the odd man out. When Mattingly diverts from his usual outfield alignment it’s to get Scotr Van Slyke time against a lefty.
While Ethier is not happy with the situation, Mattingly said he continues to be a good teammate. This season, Ethier is batting .249 with four home runs with 41 RBIs over 127 games.
It’s the least amount of games that he’s played in a season since his rookie season in 2006 when he had just 126 appearances.

deal with IT, Ethier……be glad your still a Dodger, could of been traded with double-play Looney……. when you get your chance, explode your talents to the best of your ability. real simple, earn your mark. Go Dodgers.
Now if Mattingly wouldve just done this last year instead of letting Ethier pinch hit in super crucial situations over and over again even though he constantly was a sure out the Dodgers probably would’ve been in the World Series.
