The once muddied outfield picture has been a bit more clear in recent weeks for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Of late, Andre Ethier has been left out of the equation as the Dodgers have received consistent play from Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig, and a hot streak from Carl Crawford.
In a recent interview, Ethier shared his frustration over a lack of playing time and said he was unaware what his role with the team was. Including Saturday, Ethier has only started in five of the last 20 games.
In 108 total games played, the 32 year old is batting .245 with four home runs and 40 RBIs. It’s been another tough season for Ethier, who was generally on the outside looking in last year as well.
