After making his Major League debut on May 28, Jamie Romak was designated for assignment Wednesday. Romak spent 12 seasons in the minors until being called up this season. In 15 games with the Dodgers this season, Romak had one hit in 21 at-bats with two walks and two runs scored.

He is replaced by the 27-year-old Clint Robinson. The left-handed Robinson hit .308 with a home run in 15 Spring Training games for the Dodgers. Robinson didn’t make the big league roster and instead has been with the Albuquerque Isotopes.

In the minors this season, Robinson hit .309 with 14 home runs and 56 RBIs.
