Dodgers News: Clayton Kershaw Throws Successful Bullpen Session
The Dodgers have now been without Clayton Kershaw for almost a month. On July 23rd, Kershaw exited his start early after feeling tightness in his lower back.
The initial rumored timetable was 4-6 weeks so it’s making sense that Kershaw is already throwing bullpen sessions.
On Friday, Alanna Rizzo reported that he threw a bullpen session consisting of about 35 pitches and, according to Dave Roberts, it seems to have went well.
Kershaw will throw another pen in 2-3 days. Roberts said today's pen went "better than fine".

Kershaw threw his full mix of pitches & threw about 35 pitches.

Also, the fact that Clayton Kershaw is scheduled to throw another bullpen session in just a few days shows just how much his injury has improved. Hopefully Kershaw can come back soon enough to have 4 or 5 starts before heading into the playoffs.
He’s been sidelined about 17 or 18 days, not a month like the article incorrectly reports. Stop exaggerating please. More drama.
