Dodgers News: Dave Roberts Offers Thoughts on Cody Bellinger
Cody Bellinger has had a few flashy moments this spring. Dave Roberts has taken notice.
Roberts said he’s comfortable with Bellinger playing anywhere on the field, but he’s not ready to declare the top prospect MLB-ready.

Dave Roberts also added on Bellinger: "Spring training is a small sample size, to say he's big league ready, I can't speak to that."

It has been a small sample size, punctuated by a tie-breaking monster homer that gave the Dodgers the win over Seattle two Sundays ago.

Bellinger will likely be promoted by September, at the latest. Despite Adrian Gonzalez at first and a glut of players in the outfield, if Bellinger maintains his pace, it’ll be foolish to keep him in the minors.
The No. 13 overall prospect in baseball, Bellinger has flown up the board in the past year. He’s ascended into one of the game’s top young talents, with rare five-tool potential. He is the heir apparent at first, but can play outfield in the meantime.
Bellinger told Dodgers Nation he wants to make the club out of spring training. While that probably won’t be the case, his time is coming. And it’s coming fast.
Clayton Kershaw has been literally unhittable this spring
Yeehaw! We got ourselves a team for a few years! It seems like it’s only a matter of time!
If we can solidify the pitching rotation.. I believe you’re right Nathan. But McCarthy, wood and Avilan are not the answer.. Over the hill… too injury prone.. Bundle them for one decent starter.. and get on with it..
