The Los Angeles Dodgers have their final day off for the month as they prepare for a 3-game home stand vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks. Unfortunately, the Dodgers injuries continue to pile up for the team, despite getting some players back.

Fortunately, the Dodgers are just 2.5 games back behind the San Francisco Giants.

The Dodgers look to improve their record, but first need to get key pieces back. They also hope to make some moves before the trade deadline with multiple names floating around.

In May, Roberts had stated he believed the Dodgers would win the division title again. However, with Roberts “reluctant” to put Yasiel Puig on the field the Dodgers may need to look elsewhere for help.

Following the Dodgers 3-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday the TWC SportsNet LA crew had their take on the game.

The Dodgers still have a long way to go before claiming the No. 1 spot in the NL West. With the day off the Dodgers can regroup before beginning their series vs. the Diamondbacks.

The Dodgers will play 9 of their next 12 games at Dodger Stadium hoping to make some much needed headway for top spot in the NL West.
