Dodgers News: Dodgers Favorites to Win The World Series

After a big game 3 win over the Chicago Cubs last night, the Dodgers have not only taken control of the series but they have also swayed the momentum in their favor.

According to SportsLine, the Dodgers are favorites to win the World Series at 7-4 odds. The Dodgers have a 70% to win the National League Champion Series and a 40% to win the World Series. For the first time all season, the Dodgers are the favorites to win the World Series and the Cubs are no longer the favorites. The underdog and gritty mentality of this Dodgers team has become a calling card for the team this postseason with continued and collective contributions from the entire roster, yet now the Dodgers find themselves as the new favorites.

Dodgers News: Joe Maddon Calls Out Julio Urias on Balking

The Dodgers will look to the 20 year old rookie left-handed pitcher Julio Urias to continue the dominating trend of keeping the cold Cubs lineup lifeless. If the Dodgers are to win to game 4 and take a 3-1 lead in the series tonight, the potential thought of Clayton Kershaw to close it out in game 5 has to be in the Cubs mind. With that said, Dave Roberts will continue to throw left-handed curveball throwing pitchers at a Cubs lineup that hits under .200 verse left-handers and curveballs this postseason.

The Dodgers have all the momentum heading into game 4 in the National League Series and are two wins away from the World Series! This team is like no other, over coming adversity all season long and now they are the hottest team in the postseason. The Dodgers and Dodgers fans can smell the World Series, but first things first the they must take care of the Cubs.
