Dodgers News: Dodgers Led NL In Home And Road Attendance
It’s been a pleasure watching the 2013 version of the Dodgers and their incredible run in the middle of June translated into them leading the National League in attendance at home and on the road.
The Dodgers had their 29th sellout of the season this afternoon and will continue to draw over 50,000 people when the playoffs get underway on Sunday. After the sellout was announced this afternoon, Dodgers PR tweeted all the facts about the attendance this season:
Today will mark the #Dodgers’ 29th sellout of the season, the club’s highest mark since 1983 (37).

The #Dodgers also become the fist National League club to lead @MLB in home and road attendance since at least 1988.

Just two years ago, the Dodgers were in a miserable place with owner Frank McCourt, but this year Dodger Stadium was as electric as its ever been.
With the Cardinals winning, the Dodgers will now start the NLDS on the road in Atlanta so Game 3 and 4 will be at Dodger Stadium Sunday and Monday. It’s been a great home atmosphere all season as everyone wanted to see the Dodgers at home and on the road.
