Dodgers News: Dodgers Win With Style In Anaheim

The Dodgers had not beat the Angels in Anaheim in a preseason Freeway Series game since 2003.

That all changed on Friday night when the Dodgers took down the Angels 3-1 in a game that featured a lot of enjoyment all around for the Dodgers.

Justin Turner started off the scoring on the night with a solo shot into the left field seats.

Rich Hill tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings, helped out by his second baseman who was playing at third base on the night, Logan Forsythe.

Forsythe gave everyone a show at an unfamiliar position, showing that he can fill in for Justin Turner at times during the season.

Kenley Jansen also featured on the night, throwing in back to back games for the first time all spring. It went as you would expect. A scoreless inning with two strikeouts.

Cody Bellinger also racked up an RBI in the late innings just to give everyone a taste of how bright the future actually is.

We should also feature this picture of Chase Utley levitating. I’ll leave it without context so you can imagine just how awesome this must have been if you missed it.

As of this writing, Opening Day is less than three days away, so let’s get excited!
