Dodgers News: Joc Pederson on Fire Since Return From DL

After months of ridicule for not being able to put consistent, quality at-bats together, it appears that Joc Pederson has finally found his stride as a member of the Dodger lineup.

When Joc Pederson came to Los Angeles just a few short years ago, he was known as one of the best bats in the Dodgers’ system that could provide more than competent defense in center field.

In 2015, he got off to a hot start that led to an amazing first half of the season before he ultimately regressed for nearly two years.

Come 2017 and Joc Pederson was off to yet another slow start to the season. Pederson hit the disabled list after a collision with Yasiel Puig on May 23, and did not return until June 13, after his concussion symptoms finally faded away.

Since June 13, Pederson has become one of the best hitters on the Dodgers. Since his return, he is currently sporting a .297 AVG with an OBP nearing .500. His OBP combined with a slugging percentage over .650 due to his four home runs this month is lethal for a lineup.

If Joc Pederson can find and hold any sort of consistency in the bottom of the Dodger lineup, they should be deadly from top to bottom.
