Dodgers News: Josh Ravin Suspended 80 Games by MLB
The MLB announced they have suspended Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Josh Ravin for 80 games without pay, effective immediately after a positive PED test. The right-hander was on the team’s 60-day DL list with a broken left forearm.

Last season Ravin had a 6.75 ERA in 9 1/3 innings with the Dodgers. Following the suspension Ravin released the following statement through the MLBPA.

Ravin is the latest player to be suspended by the MLB. Following the series sweep of the Dodgers, Marlins Dee Gordon was suspended for 80 games after testing positive for PEDs.

No sympathy from me. I like swift and stiff suspension. It’s the only way to rid the sport of cheaters.
Bleed Blue Forever My sentiments Blue. I read where Justin Verlander said as much. They always have excuses, as did Gordon at first. Verlander mentioned that they should not be able to play while appealing their suspension. That they shouldn’t be still affecting games. Baseball is about statistics and cheaters like Bonds, Sosa and the like cheat players whom built and sustained the game for bums like themselves.
