Dodgers News: Justin Turner Plays Santa, Brings Bikes, Toys to Local Youth

Even before re-signing with the Dodgers, Justin Turner was giving back to the Los Angeles area. Nothing has changed on that front as Turner is staying busy before Christmas.

The Justin Turner Foundation teamed with the Los Angeles dream center and donated 2,000 bikes and toys to L.A. youth, per its Instagram. Turner also visited the Mattel Children’s Hospital, playing the role of Santa Claus bearing gifts.

Turner also visited Ryan Teixeira, who is battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Teixeira, the brother of former MLB player Mark, begins chemotherapy Christmas day. He’s receiving a transplant from his brother Aaron in early January.
