Dodgers News: Kendrick and Maeda Explore D.C.’s Monuments and Museums

The Dodgers faced the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, winning the game 8-4 with Scott Kazmir on the mound. On Wednesday, they will look to continue this offensive spark to support Bud Norris in his 3rd start as a Dodger. The boys in blue have been on a road trip since July 15th and will not return to the Chavez Ravine until July 26th; however, it does not look like they are missing home very much!

On Monday the 18th, the Dodgers had an off day and had the opportunity to explore Washington, D.C., giving Kenta Maeda and Howie Kendrick the chance to see some of the beautiful monuments and museums D.C. has to offer!

Who Will be Odd Man Out in Dodgers Rotation?

The life of a baseball player is hard given the amount of travel that comes with it, especially when games are back to back. The players need some rest every now and then and it is nice that they give us a glimpse into their lives. Unfortunately, they will not have an off day in St. Louis, but hopefully they bring us along for the ride the next time they get to explore somewhere new!
