After losing six-games at home the Dodgers received a much needed win.

“It’s good to get out of here with a win,” Kershaw told TWC SportsNetLA reporter Alanna Rizzo.

The Dodgers now go on the road to face the Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays.

But after a much needed win how is the team celebrating?

  1. Who needs an offense when Kershaw is throwing? A one man wrecking crew. Brilliant performance. As for the rest of the team: Get your act together. P.S. Nice throw Yasiel.

  2. We are seeing one of the great pitchers of all time. Such a shame that Friedman and Co. refuse to surround him with enough talent to win a championship.

  3. I would hope that these guys were celebrating Kershaw’s stellar performance. But playing the way that they are, they’ll throw a party after scoring more than one run. Blue 58 is right about this FO wasting the prime of the best pitcher that i’ve seen since Sandy Koufax.

  4. Yes Kershaw is the best I’ve seen since Koufax too, and that includes guys like Drysdale and Sutton. Kershaw will perhaps move on unless the FO gets another quality pitcher to bolster their rotation. Why would he stay if LA can’t be a real contender? He wants a ring and deserves it. Sad day when Greinke left. Thought they would go after someone but evidently they’re satisfied with the status quo. Blue 58 is right.
