Dodgers News: Los Angeles Signs Right-Handed Pitcher Alexis Candelario

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed right-handed pitcher Alexis Candelario, who played for the Rojos del Aguila Veracruz, Mexico.

Candelario was born in Azua, Dominican Republic and was signed in December 2011 by the Mayos de Navojoa. He played for the Mexican League from 2011 to 2016.

The 34 year-old might be past his prime according to his age, but he still has the stuff to compete.

On October 20, 2016 Candelario was assigned to the Estrella Orientales, where he had an ERA of 2.62, 17 walks, and 44.2 inning pitched.

Should Candelario start immediately in AAA or do you think his age will affect his game? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
