Clayton Kershaw hosted his annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose event at Dodger Stadium last night.
The entire Dodger team was there along with executives and a ton of celebrities to support Clayton Kershaw and Kershaw’s Challenge.
One of the people to speak at the event last night was Dodger co-owner Magic Johnson. Johnson is the face of the owners that took over after the dreaded McCourt era ended a handful of years back.
Closing out his speech, Magic Johnson left the crowd with a few strong words. Those words being that the Dodgers are going to be 2017 World Series Champions.

To some, this gets you excited. You can hear the roar of the crowd after he finished his sentence. To others, saying things like this could become the kiss of death.
The last five seasons have ended in playoff disappointment for the Los Angeles Dodgers, but this team is obviously the strongest one that they have had since their run of National League West title victories.
The Dodgers are currently sitting at 71-31 with the best record in baseball. They have the ability to make some slight upgrades to their already strong roster at this week’s upcoming trade deadline. A good move or two could put them in the driver’s seat and have them set and ready to take on anyone that crosses their path come October.
