Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has a positive outlook on the 2016 season, and seems excited to see what his players can do come Spring Training. Although Roberts admitted to thinking about the starting lineup nothing is set in stone.

During a media scrum at Dodgers FanFest Roberts admits there are some question marks, but is confident in the team he has. One thing that is for sure is that second baseman Howie Kendrick will be wearing a Dodgers uniform for the 2016 season. Kendrick signed a 2-year deal with the boys in blue Friday.

“I told him he made me a better manager,” Roberts said about Kendrick. “He’s a winning player … he just adds depth.”

Roberts has spoken with most of his players, and that list now includes right fielder Yasiel Puig. Roberts said he spoke to Puig right before speaking to the media and had a “positive” sit down with him.

He stated he wants Puig to have a “clean slate” and just continue to be himself.
