Dodgers News: Pederson Crashes Into Center Field Wall and Injury Update | VIDEO

If you’re a fan of the Dodgers, you know all to well what kind of impact injuries can have on your team. Whether it is Matt Kemp crashing into the center field wall, Puig with a hamstring injury, or Hanley getting hit in the ribs during the playoffs, unfortunately it is something we have become accustomed to.

Because of this, fans began to go insane when it was reported that Clayton Kershaw was going to be flying back to LA on Tuesday to get his back examined! After the news settled, it was confirmed that Kershaw was in fact with the team and would fly to LA on Wednesday. He was also seen walking around the dugout cheering on his team, which is hopefully a good sign!

So all was well in DodgerLand, right? Nope! In the bottom of the 8th inning, Chris Carter crushed a ball that was inches from going out of the park. Of course, our amazing center fielder was able to track it down and make the catch; however, it was at the expense of his right arm. He immediately went down and was forced to exit the game, not moving his right arm the entire walk back to the dugout.

As I’m sure you can imagine, the media and fans grew worried and scared that Joc had suffered a serious injury.

Thankfully, X-rays confirmed that there was no serious injury and that it was a bruised AC joint.

Even though there is not a fracture and Joc is listed as day to day, there is no knowing for sure how this injury will affect him. We will hope for the best here at Dodgers Nation and we suggest you do too! Now that we have established that there is no serious, season-ending injury, go back up and watch that play again! What an amazing catch. Get well soon Joc!
