Dodgers News: Rich Hill Dominant in Return From DL
Rich Hill finally returned to the mound for the Dodgers after an extended stay on the 10-day disabled list due to a recurring blister issue.
Finally looking healthy and hoping to be past his blister issue that has haunted him for a majority of the last calendar year, Rich Hill was set to take a start against the San Francisco Giants. It would be just his third start of the 2017 season.
Dave Roberts said that Hill could throw 90-100 pitches, which meant there were little to no restrictions on him.
Rich Hill could throw 90-100 pitches tonight, Dave Roberts said.

Rich Hill rolled through the night the way Rich Hill usually does. The opposing team scatters a few baserunners over the first couple innings but Hill finds his way out of it more than once with his devastating array of curveballs.
His only blemish on the night came in the bottom of the 4th inning when he dished up a home run to Giants’ first baseman, Brandon Belt.
After making his way through the 5th inning, dave Roberts decided to pull him at just 82 pitches.
Rich Hill is done after 5 IP 82 pitches. Presumably his finger is still attached.

His finger does seem to be fine after his start, but was only allowed to get through 82 pitches.

The Dodgers could not have asked for much more from Hill in his return to the team, but they offense was unable to pull anything together to help him in their 2-1 loss.
Yasmani Grandal quietly on fire at the plate
Dominant? Please, the guy pitched 5 innings. The game lasts 9. He muddled through is more like it…FAZ is NUTS………
Nevertheless, he held his own, but I am wondering if he has a blister yet.
Does he have a blister yet?
