Dodgers News: Still No Return Date for Andre Ethier
The Los Angeles Dodgers kicked off their series vs. the Diamondbacks in Arizona and Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier was in the building with the team. Ethier is in Arizona rehabbing from a fractured shin.
Ethier was originally expected back in June, but it seems that timetable is still up in the air. Ethier spoke to the media about his injury on Monday.

Ethier has not played since March after he was injured fouling a pitch off his right shin during a spring training game vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks.
“You can’t put time tables … on injuries like this,” Ethier said during a scrum with the media. “It’s tough to put a true timetable … It takes a little bit more time beyond when they say it’s healed to get back into playing shape.”
“I think we’re where we need to be right now, it’s just a little bit slower going than we thought, just because you hope for the best, you want the best, you think maybe in 8 weeks you can be back … but that wasn’t the case in this situation.”
Ethier will undergo further testing on his right leg on Thursday to see if his fractured tibia has completely healed, according to TWC SportsNetLA reporter Alanna Rizzo.
Ethier is here with team since he lives in AZ. Getting another scan on Thursday, to see if fracture is completely healed. No return date.
