September is finally here and it’s bitter sweet for Dodger fans. With the Los Angeles Dodgers holding on to first place in the NL West, fans will gladly welcome the post season, but sadly say goodbye to the great Vin Scully.

Scully is closing out his 67th and final season as the Dodgers broadcaster and the team plans to honor Scully throughout the course of the month.

The Dodgers plan to honor Scully during Vin Scully weekend, while also giving fans the chance to pay their respects and say goodbye to Vin.

Vin Scully Weekend will kick off when the Dodgers host the Colorado Rockies. Earlier this month, KTLA announced they will air Scully’s final games, which will include the game the Dodgers host a Vin Scully appreciation day.
