With the Dodgers on the search for another power arm in their bullpen this season, they just might dig into their farm for one of the most powerful arms in the minor leagues.

There are reports that the Dodgers are considering adding Walker Buehler to the bullpen this season, just to help for a playoff push and possibly be a contributing arm to the playoff bullpen.

Walker Buehler was just announced as the number 17 prospect in Baseball America’s midseason prospect rankings.

Buehler currently has a 2.48 ERA this season across 61.2 innings between Rancho Cucamonga (High-A) and Tulsa (Double-A).
If somehow Buehler does make it to the majors as a reliever this season, it could mean a great deal in terms of the Dodgers not having to trade top prospects for above average relievers from other teams.
The price for a good reliever is huge, as we learned from the Padres ask for Brad Hand.

Always go with the home grown talent…tired of watching our Farm Hands develop into #2 and 3 starters for other clubs…
