Dodgers News: Winter Report Cards are in; Corey Seager Talks Spring Training And More | VIDEO

Los Angeles Dodgers pitchers and catchers report on Friday … finally! Players will travel to Arizona and touch down at CamelBack Ranch for training while the rest of us countdown the days until opening day. So how are the Dodgers pitchers preparing for the trip?

Pitcher Alex Wood tweeted out he was excited for how clutch Amazon Prime is.

While teammate Chris Hatcher seemed to have been ahead of the game and already catching up on some reading.

While Hatcher catches up on his reading, the Winter Report Cards are in per Sports Illustrated. I won’t waste your time with plus and minuses, but the Dodgers came in at the No. 9 spot in the National League with a B grade. The San Francisco Giants steal 4th place with an A and the Chicago Cubs earn top honors with an A grade as well.

Dodgers News: PECOTA Projects Great Year For Dodgers

The Dodgers have so many questions that need to be answered this Spring Training. One of those questions is who will lead-off for L.A.? We asked DodgersNation and you guys responded.

Seager is the favorite and it seems he is up to the task to earn his spot with the Dodgers telling AM 570 Dodgers Talk:

“You still have to go out and earn a job, nothing is given to you. Last year was a different scenario of coming into spring to see the atmosphere. There wasn’t really the potential of making the team out of spring. It was more of, ‘Let’s learn as much as possible.’ This year it’s going to be more of a grind trying to earn a [starting] job.”

It seems the shortstop has his mind right for 2016. Hopefully Spring Training gives us a glimpse of what Dodger fans should expect.
