Dodgers Reliever Casey Fien Embracing Homecoming in Los Angeles | VIDEO

A person never forgets where he or she comes from. This notion resonates with Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Casey Fien.

Backstage Dodgers showcased the 32-year-old’s old stomping grounds of Buena Park, Calif as he introduces viewers to daughter Jordan and parents John and Ginny.

Fien captures the essence of what it means to be a homegrown baseball player. After being designated for assignment by the Minnesota Twins at the beginning of May, the Dodgers claimed Fien off waivers. L.A. promoted him to the major leagues on May 28, where he has since made six appearances and has yet to allow an earned run.
