Dodgers Send Several Top Prospects To Instructional League

After blowing past their designated international signing pool in July, the Dodgers dealt away their bonus slots. They acquired four Minor Leaguers, all of whom will be in attendance at Camelback Ranch.

Chief among them are Chase De Jong and Jordan Paroubeck. De Jong pitched well for the Quakes after coming over and was the team’s starter in Game 1 of their divisional playoff series.

Paroubeck batted .331/.409/.551 between the club’s two rookie ball affiliates. Tim Locastro and Caleb Dirks also made contributions.

Locastro is a scrappy middle infielder who gets on base, earning the role of leadoff hitter for Rancho. Dirks is a reliever who reached Double-A at age 22, where he posted a 1.35 ERA in 14 games.

  1. Hopefully puig and Pedersen are at the top to go to the instructional league of needing proper instruction. Mcguire definitely did not do them any favors.
