There was little to cheer for at Dodger Stadium Sunday as the Los Angeles Dodgers’ bats were largely quieted by James Shields and the relief pitchers that followed. Shields pitched seven innings and wound up allowing three runs on five hits, but he was largely unhittable through six innings.

Justin Upton’s first-inning grand slam took the life out of Chavez Ravine and Shields’ pitching kept the fans sitting on their hands. With the Padres leading 10-0 in the bottom of the seventh, the Dodgers at last managed to get on the board.

Three straight singles loaded the bases and the Dodgers’ first run scored on an Andre Ethier double play. Then with two outs Alex Guerrero hit a two-run home run to left field, but the bigger story was Bobby Crosby of YouTube fame Dodgerfilms caught the ball while filming himself:

Hours after the game Crosby uploaded a montage of his catches from the 2015 season with the latest haul included:

It was the second home run this month Crosby has caught on camera and he again received recognition from legendary broadcaster Vin Scully. The fans in left field pavilion also took notice and chanted “MVP” in their support of Crosby.
